It is said that children often imitate what they see their parents do......horrors!

Sidewalk Chalk Art

Macy and Lucy love to color the driveway with sidewalk chalk. There are two problems with this. One, Lucy likes to eat the chalk. Two, the art doesn't last forever! Lucy thinks it is really funny to smear Macy's artwork with her little sweaty feet. Macy does NOT think this is so funny!

Rent-A-Space Advertisement

Pepe, I think this would be a great picture for your next RAS billboard. Who wouldn't "rent a space" from this sweet face??

Caught!

What happens at JisJis' stays at JisJis'.......unless it is too funny to not share with Mama!!

Funny Picture

Macy is working so hard.......and just look at Lucy! That face is so "her."

Macy's Newest Talent

We have two wonderful preachers with our church this summer. They are actually staying at my parents' house for a couple of weeks. One of them has taught Macy how to make balloon art. This is her creation.

Jay Nash McCrary

My wonderful friends Lu and Katie McCrary welcomed a little boy into the world on Wednesday, July 18th. His name is Jay Nash McCrary and will be called "Nash". He weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. He is absolutely precious! I got to hold him yesterday in the hospital (you know I was LOVING that)! I think he looks a little like his Mama with his Daddy's mouth. Lu is one of the few that are in Lucy's small "circle." He is wonderful with her, so I can only imagine how wonderful he will be with his own baby!

A Funny Story

O.k., so I am NOT the world's greatest blogger, but it is a fun thing to do......so I am still trying!! Ya'll that know me know that I am not the "scrapbooky" type, although creative I might say, so this is sort of my way to scrapbook. Anyway, wanted to share a funny story about Lucy.....

When you ask Lucy her name, she says "Shushi" (hence the nickname from Bippy and JisJis "sushi roll"....."sushi" for "Lucy" and "roll" for her little fat rolls that are all too cute!). Well, we have a neighborhood dog named "Buddy" who we have all adopted. (Sad dog story, he got left when some people moved out suddenly). Whenever we drive in our driveway, Buddy comes running to greet the girls and play. So the other day, Lucy walked into the living room, and Jason said "Hey Buddy". Lucy said "no, no, I'm Shushi." Too cute!!
