I am a Christian, a wife, and a Mommy. I love Jesus, my husband, my 2 little girls, our families, and our church. I am all about bright colors, but I like neutrals too. I love crosses, baking, my coffee with lots of sugar and creamer, ruffles, wearing dresses, doing crafts, wearing fun necklaces and big rings, distressed picture frames, french country, my cowboy boots, and dressing my girls up in fun and cute clothes. My home has double wooden doors, a farmhouse table that my grandmother bought for five dollars at a yard sale years ago, chairs that don't match, and pictures everywhere. My dream is to learn to sew. I have a thing for Ford vehicles and love days in my pajamas. Oh, and I'll take a medium diet coke, 2 shots of vanilla, and no ice (from Sonic, of course) please!
Last week, we took a wonderful trip to the beach with my parents and family. We had a blast!! (If you think you see a bruised knot right in the middle of Lucy's forehead, you do. She took a topple the night before we left town).
I cannot believe I have forgotten to put these pictures on the blog. A couple of weeks ago, Macy was studying the letter "H" at school, so on Friday, they celebrated with "Hilarious Hair Day." After much thought, we decided to do her hair "Pippi Longstocking" style (remember her??) It turned out absolutely precious, and we had so much fun!!
We planted some sunflowers a couple of months ago - thanks to Bippy for the seeds! We planted them a little later than normal, but they have bloomed and are so beautiful! The girls have really enjoyed them. Here is a picture of the girls and me with the largest of our sunflowers in the background.
I think these pictures are so funny of Lucy wearing glasses. Those of you who know us know that Jason and I both are "just about near blind" without contacs or glasses. Jason's eyes are bad, and mine are 3 times worse. Our girls don't have a chance!
This is one of my favorite recent pictures. I have ordered about 20 copies of it, so family, your copy is coming! No, I didn't make their outfits. I wish I could!! I could have made 100 of them already for others. I found them on a really great website.
