These are my two little turkeys in their Thanksgiving dresses that JisJis and I made (I created the idea and JisJis made them). We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are so blessed!

Lucy and Miss Bear

Nana (Jason's mom) gave this cute bear to Lucy for her birthday. She has played with it a little bit, but today, Miss Bear was the toy of the day. We even had to put a diaper on her. This was all o.k. until I started noticing Lucy taking a perfectly clean diaper off of the bear, throwing it in the trash, then going to get another one out of her closet. We had a lesson in "wastefulness" today :)

On Sunday, Macy wore one of the dresses that my Nana smocked for me. She looked so sweet, and my Nana was so proud!!

Adventures in Babysitting

We got to keep Nash (Lu & Katie's little boy) today! We had so much fun!! He is such a good baby - he slept in Lucy's baby bed - yes, there was actually a REAL BABY sleeping in our baby bed. He didn't seem to mind the pink walls and all the "fruit fruit" (as Macy says "froo-froo", you know, "girly girl") stuff around him as he slept. Macy and Lucy just love him, Lucy especially - it was quite evident today when on our way to pick Macy up from school, Lucy was quite intent on something......a booger in Nash's nose......and when I noticed she stuck her finger in her own mouth and started chewing, I had to ask "what are you doing Lucy?" Her reply....."Nash a booger....good..." Macy loves to chant "You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose"........Lucy thinks otherwise!! True love??!!

Oh, and please don't kill me Lu, but Lucy decided Nash needed to be a "pink" cowboy today :) Sorry, I HAD to take a picture!!

My Groovy Girls

Lucy said "I am so cute", with an emphasis on the word "so" when I dressed them yesterday. I think they are pretty cute myself!!

Lucy's Hat

We have pulled out a "hand me down" hat for Lucy (it was Macy's). She loves it. It goes on right after bathtime at night, and we have to take it off of her right before she goes to bed. I know, Mom and Bippy, ya'll have always said that we keep our house cold.....do you think that is what Lucy is trying to tell us??

Trick or Treating

We went "trick or treating" on Tuesday night instead of on Halloween night this year because of Bible classes on Wednesday night. Macy and Lucy were cheerleaders, pigtails and all. Here are a few pictures of the girls with their great-grandmothers (Mamaw is Jason's grandmother - Lucy has renamed her "Meemaw" and Nana is my grandmother). Our next stops were Gran & Nana's and Pepe & JisJis' houses.
