Sunday Stuff

I thought I'd share how most of our Sunday picture sessions start off...

Fussing, fighting, slapping, hitting...these girls can fight like cats and dogs.

And then in a split second, they can turn on the charm...

Jason is still sick. He has flu-like symptoms and just feels terrible. Here's nurse Lucy getting the "temperature" (aka the themometer) out of the medicine cabinet in the kitchen...

We had a fun-filled afternoon. My adorable little cousin, Smith (who lives in New York) was here to celebrate his 2nd birthday. His party was every little boy's dream...there was a real backhoe, a tractor ride, and the biggest pile of sand you have ever seen. There were road work signs and orange cones everywhere. It was so much fun!

Here is a picture of Macy and Lucy with my cousin Julia. We love our Juber! I had to take this picture for my sister since she is in New Zealand and couldn't be at the party. My sister is my sister of course...but she is also the sister that Julia never had. They are first cousins, but best friends...such a sweet relationship!

The party favors were construction hats...hot pink for the girls, yellow for the boys...filled with all kinds of construction toys, a big colorful lollipop, and cookies *Ü*

The hats were filled with fun confetti paper strips. Lucy thought the filler made a perfect wig...

I went straight from Smith's party to a wedding shower for my friend, Samantha. She is getting married in April, and I couldn't be more excited for her! She is the sweetest thing, and I am so thankful she has found her perfect match.

It's been a busy day, but a good day. Looking forward to my girls being out of school all week for Spring Break. We have a few plans on the agenda...not too much though. Got to have some pajama days!
